I flew some 18000 hours on Boeing B737 300/400, B767 and B747-400. On 737 and 767 I was a line-flying instructor for some 4 years. Now I am just a “normal” 747 captain on a 80% parttime-contract, working towards my retirement in May 2018. I also did quite a few experiments as test-subject in the simulator at NLR and TU-Delft. And now I am returning to my General Aviation roots after all those years: just became Flight Instructor on Single Engine Piston (SEP) and Touring Motor Glider (TMG).
